Robin is taking medical leave from the show to receive a bone marrow transplant after she revealed to fans in June she is battling myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).

There’s no specific date set for Robin’s return.

Until then, several of her closest friends, including Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, Barbara Walter and Kelly Ripa, will fill-in for Robin while she’s away.

Even Oprah Winfrey and the entire cast of Modern Family have stepped up to fill Robin’s seat in her absence.
