In fact, guest star Margaret Cho reveals the show sees a lot of high-profile celebrity guests”¦ who just want to hang out.

“Bill Clinton was just there,” she says, “and not on camera — just hanging out.”

30 Rock has reportedly reached out to Clinton’s camp with interest to have him on the show ““ and on camera. But the offer was immediately shot down.

If Clinton had a change of heart, though, he wouldn’t be the show’s first political guest star.

Condoleezza Rice and Al Gore have previously appeared on the show.
