Country stars find themselves in all sorts of odd jobs before they hit it big, but Jason Aldean’s former 9 to 5 put him in a big mess”¦ literally.

The country megastar revealed to CMT when he was 18, he worked with clusters of kids at Discovery Zone, which he described as a Chuck E. Cheese on steroids.

“I did a little bit of everything,” Jason says. “I worked the front counter. I worked in the kitchen some. And if some kid had an accident in the ball pit, I had to go clean all that stuff out.”

Luckily, Jason says he “had higher expectations” for himself, and it wasn’t long before he reached country superstardom.

As for complaints about his current gig as a country music supertar, Jason mentions he doesn’t like “performing when it’s 110 degree outside.

But still, he says this job “beats the hell out of real jobs.”
