Rumor has it”¦ If Faith Hill had her way, one of Adele’s hit songs would have been hers!

Record producer and OneRepublic front man Ryan Tedder revealed in a new interview that Faith approached him to collaborate on her new album Illusion.

And Faith’s first pick of songs was a little ditty Ryan wrote called “Rumour Has It.”

Unfortunately for Faith, a lesser-known Adele had already recorded the song for her album.

So instead, Faith went with another song written by Ryan called “Come Home.”

The song is included on Faith’s new album Illusion, which has yet to receive a release date.
