    Posted: Aug 20, 2012

The Expendables 2 landed at the top of the box office charts this weekend thanks to a punch from Sylvester Stallone and his beefcake buddies.

The first weekend for the animated ParaNorman totaled 14 million for a No. 3 spot, while the Whitney Houston-Jordin Sparks flick Sparkle wasn’t so sparkly, finishing at No. 5 at the movies.
