First, comes love”¦ Then, comes a puppy? At least that’s the next step for Kelly Clarkson and her new flame, Reba’s stepson Brandon Blackstock.

The couple, who’ve dated for nearly a year now, is already adding a new addition to their family: a German Shepherd named “Bear.”

Kelly reveals to People that the decision to add the furry friend to the family could be a sign she and Brandon are taking their relationship to the next level.

“Uh-oh… commitment level,” Kelly jokes. So could marriage and a baby carriage be next for the new couple?

It doesn’t appear Reba could be becoming a grandma anytime soon.

Kelly is busy with two other dogs, her Maltese, “Security,” and a black poodle named “Joplin.”

Not to mention, she’s also gearing up to re-release her smash album “Stronger” with six brand-new songs just in time for the Christmas holidays.
