Some changes are in store for the new season of The Voice, and coach Blake Shelton may get a little something stolen from him…

At a news conference this weekend, the show’s executive producer revealed the new season will allow the coaches to steal contestants from each other during the battle rounds.

There will also be a “knockout round,” which will reduce the number of contestants on each coach’s team.

The show will also allow a substitute coaches to fill in when one of the orginial has a scheduling conflict.

The Voice premieres September 10th on NBC.
