Was it a comedic campaign or a Bourne reboot that knocked The Dark Knight Rises from the top spot at the box office?The Dark Knight Rises couldn’t hold off Jeremy Renner in The Bourne Legacy, which brought in the most money at the movies this weekend at $40.3 million.
It was Will Ferrell vs. Zach Galifianakis in The Campaign, but both came out on top at the box office with $27.4 million its first weekend out.
And the Batman trilogy was down 45 percent, landing at No. 3 with 19.5 million. 1. The Bourne Legacy, $40.3 million
