Alana, better known as “Honey Boo Boo,” made her debut on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Wednesday night on TLC.

The show is meeting great ratings, even against competition of Olympic proportion.

While the Olympics fared well on TV with 28.75 million viewers, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo held its own and brought in 2.2 million viewers, making it the No. 1 ad-supported cable show in its time slot.

Even Miranda Lambert tweeted her fascination with the show. “And TLC wins again with another show,” she posted. “I am hooked on:) “˜a dolla makes me holla honey boo boo!’”
