Is Brad Paisley Next to Join ‘American Idol’?

Blake Shelton may have some country company on TV very soon…The next country singing reality show judge may just be Brad Paisley.Â
No, Brad’s not joining The Voice, but word is Brad is one of the top contenders to fill the empty judges’ slot”¦ on American Idol.
Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Fox execs are looking for a male to join Mariah Carey on the show’s next season.
Brad has several connections to the show already. He hosts the CMA Awards every year with the show’s biggest winner Carrie Underwood, and the show’s newest country winner Scotty McCreery is currently on tour with Brad.
No official word yet on whether Brad will jump on board or if Randy Jackson will return to Idol.
