The Older Garth Brooks Gets, The More He Cries?
Posted: Jul 13, 2012
The men of country music aren’t afraid to shed a tear, especially not Garth Brooks…In fact, the country icon says he’s always been a crier. But in an interview with The Vancouver Sun, Garth reveals with age, the waterworks have become much more frequent.
“It seems the older I get, I cry at commercials,” Garth says.
Something else that makes him cry is seeing the talent of youngest daughter Allie Colleen, who Garth says has got “the bug but”¦got the goods, too.”
“She starts playing and singing. I have to get up and leave,” Garth says.
Maybe Allie can join dad and step-mom Trisha Yearwood on tour? Garth says he “would love to tour again” but is still “two years away” from any big trek.
The singer takes a break from his Las Vegas concerts at the Wynn Friday night to play the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Canada.
