The country megastar reveals to the Star Tribune that he’s young at heart and would love for someone to call him dad.
“In ways, I still feel 23. I don’t feel old ““ I feel grown up. I like that.” Kenny says if having kids is “in the cards” for him, he’d “love to do it.”
But while he’s touring this summer with Tim McGraw, who has three daughters himself, the possibility of kids is the last thing on Kenny’s radar.
Instead, he’s dedicated to becoming an even better performer”¦ and a better athlete than Tim. When it comes to who’s the better athlete, Kenny says the choice is obvious.
“I’ll say I am, and he’ll say he is.” Kenny says. “He can dunk a basketball and I can’t. Even on an 8-foot goal. It doesn’t make him a better athlete, though.”
Kenny and Tim continue their tour with opening acts Jake Owen and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals through the summer.
