Could Carrie Underwood make it as a Spice Girl?

We’re not quite so sure about that one ““ but “Country Spice” does have a nice ring to it.

Carrie does, however, have an interesting connection to Ginger, Posh, Baby, Sporty and Scary. The country megastar’s manager Simon Fuller, who’s the mastermind behind American Idol, also created the Spice Girls!

Carrie says she herself “loved the Spice Girls back in the day,” and Carrie mentions Fuller has given her just as much support in her career as he gave to the ladies of the Spice Girls.

“He’s all about”¦what makes me happy,” Carrie says. “He’s a supporter and a friend and there’s opinions, guidance and loyalty with Simon.”

The Spice Girls aren’t the only British music sensation Carrie’s in tune with. Carrie loves Adele and even the Rolling Stones!

Carrie’s continues her trip abroad in Australia where she’s performing three shows before heading back to the States for her “Blown Away Tour” this fall.
