It’s been a while since Tim McGraw starred in a big screen blockbuster, but could Broadway be next on the horizon for the country megastar?

Tim recently revealed he turned down the sing-and-dance opportunity to perform on Broadway.

With his current summer gig with Kenny Chesney on the “Brothers of the Sun Tour,” Tim says now is just not the time for more acting.

Plus, Tim mentions finding the perfect script isn’t always easy. “It all has to start with a script, of course,” he says. “And if that’s not right, then nothing’s right.”

The singer-turned-actor says he’s attracted to the “darker side” of acting. “I like heavy movies, so I don’t know if you could find one that fits that criteria.”

Tim will stick with singing on the “Brothers of the Sun Tour” with Kenny Chesney, rolling through Pennsylvania this weekend.
