Reba had to brave some extreme weather Monday while shooting the video for her new single “Turn on the Radio.”

The video was shot in an old warehouse in downtown Nashville with the heat index passing 100 degrees.

After fighting the heat all afternoon, the crew took a break for dinner, only to find a huge electrical storm brewing outside. As the storm got closer, the generators were shut down for safety and the entire cast and crew were led to the basement to seek cover from a possible tornado in the area.

Reba says that only one other video shoot has been shut down because of a storm – the shoot for “Does He Love You” in Long Island. She says that she hopes it’s a good omen because “Does He Love You” ended up being a great video and Grammy award winning song!
