KATE PLUS EIGHT…MINUS JON

After months of “he said, she said” between Jon and Kate Gosselin, TLC is making some dramatic changes. As of Tuesday morning, it is being reported that TLC is dropping Jon Gosselin from the show Jon & Kate Plus 8. The show will continue to air with Kate being the only parent shown. The show’s name will now be Kate Plus 8 starting November 2nd.
It seems that the network is tired of Jon’s tabloid-worthy antics, which seem to be hurting the show’s ratings. After the announcement of their divorce earlier this season, the total number of people tuning in each week as slowly declined.
On the other hand, Kate has been busy as co-host of The View and shooting a pilot “Mom-centered” talk show with Paula Deen.

In my opinion i do not think the show will be the same with out jon, and what are the kids going to think about it? If TLC thinks that he is hurting the show then they should just give him less air time and not take him off completely. The show is called jon and kate plus 8 for a reason! He is in the up bringing of his kids and the show is apart of their lives and he should be apart of it as well!
