Billy Currington was injured Saturday night when the stage he was performing on at the Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, Alberta, Canada collapsed due to heavy winds. One person died, two others remained in critical condition Sunday, and 75 people were injured. Billy suffered a black eye and minor concussion. His bassist, Shaun Smith, was pulled from the stage area by emergency responders and underwent immediate surgery to repair a severed artery and nerves in his left arm. He is currently receiving treatment in Nashville. Kevin Costner and his band, Modern West, were under the stage getting ready to perform when the stage collapsed and two band members were injured. Billy twittered this picture and one other early Monday.
